The photo tour shows the gradual growth of the hospital, stallion barn, mare barn and the pastures, click here to view. Today there is a full service hospital with surgery room, gas machine, radiography with darkroom, ultrasound, intensive care stall with video moniters, inhouse laboratory certified to run Coggins Tests, blood counts and chemistrys.
The repro laboratory and stallion barn have 6 large stallion stalls, 2 turn out pastures, as well as state-of-the-art equipment for hysterioscopic insemination, cooled and frozen semen, embryo transfer and embryo freezing. Select Breeders Services freezes semen at our laboratory to insure top quality service to you. This year we offer oocyte transfer for the first time. After many practice procedures on our recipient mares, we now offer an alternative for mares from which we cannot flush embryos. Our quarantine barn, the latest addition, is USDA approved for animal export as well as quarantine for semen and embryo export.
The mare barn has 46 stalls under lights for preparing both recipient mares and client mares for an early breeding season. |
